Radio One continued to grow over the next decade. By the year of 2002 Radio One’s portfolio contained 63 stations, and by 2003 Radio One formed a joint venture with Comcast Corporation to launch TV One, a cable television channel targeting adult African-American viewers.

By 2004 TV One was launched and it has become a huge success. Another major acquisition for Radio One in 2005 included acquiring controlling interest in Reach Media Inc. home of the Tom Joyner Morning Show. By the end of 2006 the Radio One portfolio included 71 stations.

The growth did not stop there. In 2007 Radio One acquired the BlackPlanet social network and formed the Interactive One division. Focused on creating an online portal targeted to African-Americans of all ages.

Interactive One has since added to the portfolio four content verticals Hello Beautiful, Elev8, The Urban Daily and NewsOne.

Today in Radio One’s portfolio are 52 stations in 16 different markets, TV One, Interactive One (Hellobeautiful.com, Elev8.com, Newsone.Com & Theurbandaily.com), Reach Media Inc & Black America Web (Home of the Tom Joyner Morning Show), Syndication One (The Yolanda Adams Morning Show, Warren Ballentine, Coco Brother, Al Shartpton, Russ Parr & Rickey Smiley) and One Solution.
