Man Who Abducted Two Girls, Ex-Girlfriend Fatally Shoots Himself

Police say that a man who abducted two girls and his ex-girlfriend fatally shot himself after the ordeal. On Saturday, an Amber Alert was issued after two girls were taken by 22-year-old Courtney Dickerson. Dickerson was a registered sex offender. According to reports, Dickerson first abducted and raped his ex-girlfriend at knife point Thursday. Then early Saturday, Dickerson reportedly kicked the door down of his ex-girlfriend’s mother’s home and kidnapped her as well as her two children. The mother and her two daughters-four-year-old Jayla Gasaway and two-year-old Cadence Mills were all kidnapped by Dickerson at approximately 2:30 A.M. Saturday.
