Cancelled flights in Dallas have affected flights across Texas and across the country.
Weather service advisories were issued Tuesday. Storm specialists and radar observed separate tornadoes south of Dallas-Fort Worth. “Considerable damage” was caused by the tornado south of Fort Worth, according to the weather service.
The weather service says the “large and extremely dangerous” tornado was near Lancaster, about 20 miles south of Dallas and moving north.
