Crime Stoppers released a video Monday in the hopes that it will lead to the arrest of a man suspected of a burglary in a Houston neighborhood.
The incident occurred just just north of FM 1960 in a neighborhood known as Champions. A man suspected of stealing the contents of a safe was caught on a surveillance camera roaming through a homeowner’s backyard.
The man shown in the video is wearing camouflage pants, boots and a tool belt around his waist. He is wearing what appears to be a skin-tight shirt with a hoodie and a mask covering his head and face.
The detectives report the home is located in the 6200 block of Rolling Water Drive, on a golf course. The video did not capture when the man entered the home through a back door.
The stolen goods are estimated to be worth approximately $80,000, according to the homeowners.
The suspect is believed to be a 5-feet-6-inch man, weighing between 150 to 170 pounds.
If you have information about this case, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
