Workers At Three Massage Parlors Arrested In Prostitution Sting

On Thursday evening, Harris County deputies in collaboration with the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office raided three massage parlors located in one shopping strip. The raid came upon the heels of a lengthy investigation into the businesses after it was revealed that the parlors were reportedly havens for prostitution. Published reports indicate that at least six women were in custody Thursday after prostitution stings at the Royal, Empire and Crystal Relaxation massage parlors.

Precinct 4 deputy constables also assisted Harris County deputies and the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office in the raids of the three parlors. According to investigators, most of the women who were arrested appeared to be under the age of 30. Some of the females also appeared to be as young as teenagers. One older woman, who authorities believe is a supervisor, was also taken into custody.

Additional workers at the parlors received citations. Authorities targeted the businesses after reportedly receiving complaints of illegal activity. Investigators are investigating additional claims that the women may be apart of a human trafficking operation.
