Herb Reed founder of the legendary group The Platters has died according to NewsOne.com. Reed was the last original member to pass from the group who were best known for their 1950s singles ‘The Great Pretender” and “Only You”.
Reed passed away from a combination of health complications including pulmonary disease, according to his manager Fred Balboni.
