NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous will address NAACP delegates at the First Public Meeting of the 103rd NAACP Annual Convention.

President Jealous was elected in 2008 as the youngest person to lead the century-old NAACP. During his tenure, the Association’s online activists have swelled from 175,000 to more than 600,000; its donors have increased from 16,000 individuals per year to more than 120,000; and its membership has increased three years in a row for the first time in more than 20 years. In the past year, President Jealous has spoken out as an activist on various issues of the day, including Troy Davis, the Trayvon Martin tragedy, voter suppression and racial profiling.
