Lana Hughes’ Creature Feature: Keeping Pets Safe And Out Of Traffic

Stormy weather can often cause our pet companions to panic and bolt. Unfortunately, that means they can run into traffic and get hit.  News 92 FM’s Lana Hughes talks with Dr. Brian Beale with Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists about the do’s and don’ts of helping an injured animal.

Dr. Beale also suggests that you train your pet to stay away from cars and the road, and he says there are CPR and first aid courses for pets that are offered by the Red Cross and other agencies.
