MYHOUSTONMAJIC.com – Now that she’s achieved the fame and money that she’s always wanted, former stripper and reality star Nene Leakes is determined to make the best of it. Everything from reality tv, to having a shoe line, Nene is a part of it and making that money.
This Saturday, September 8, Leakes is also hosting “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” marathon starting at 7 p.m. During the marathon, she’ll give viewers a preview of “The New Normal.” She doesn’t play herself on the show, but rather a version of herself that is an assistant to Bryan Buckley, one of the gay adoptive fathers “The New Normal” is based around.
The show’s premise is what happens when a gay couple decides to hire a surrogate to carry their child, to the horror of some of the people around them including Ellen Barkin, who plays Jane, the surrogate’s grandmother.
