I am a 34-year old mother of 2 daughters, and I have been married for 14 years.
For the most part, I thought my marriage was going well, and boy did I find out how wrong and blind I have been. The nutshell of the story is that my husband has had 2 job losses. We went through a foreclosure. His sister was put in prison for murder. His baby brother committed suicide. He was abandoned by his mom when he was young and left with an abusive father. That’s just to name a few. There is so much more to mention. The troubles really surfaced about 10 months ago when my husband went to a training for his job to become an assistant manager for the employer he currently works for and has been with since 2009.
