Beyonce, Mary Mary and Tamar Braxton are just some of the leading ladies for this year’s 2013 BET Awards, each taking home nominations for the annual entertainment awards program.

Drake might have started from the bottom, but he is now leading the pack for the 2013 BET Awards with 12 nominations. Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz are nominated for 8 awards each.

Drake received three nominations for Video of the Year for “Started from the Bottom,” “No Lie,” and “Problems.” Also nominated in the category are Justin Timberlake for “Suit & Tie,” Kanye West for “Mercy,” Miguel‘s “Adorn,” and “Thrift Shop,” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Chris Tucker will host the awards, which air live June 30 from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
