The Boy Scouts of America National Council will lift the ban on gay youth participation after a vote during their national meeting in Grapevine, Texas, paving the way for openly gay members. The Scouts passed the measure with over 60 percent of the vote, and ends a policy that allows youth Scouts to be excluded based only on sexual orientation.
