Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson testified at the wrongful death trial against AEG on Friday (July 19th). Reports say that Katherine broke down on the stand when she talked about the moment she found out that her son had died. She testified that she got a phone call about Michael’s death, saying, “They told me, ‘He didn’t make it, he didn’t make it.’ I just started screaming.”

Katherine also wanted to set the record straight about MJ’s reputation. She said, “My son is not a freak . . . . The most difficult thing is to sit in this court and listen to all the bad things they’re saying about my son. A lot of those things are just not the truth. I know my son was a very good person. He loved everybody. He was in the Guinness Book of World Records for the entertainer who gave the most to charity.”

She also talked about the constant pain that Michael was in and his addiction to prescription drugs.

Katherine and Michael’s three kids are suing AEG Live, claiming that they are negligent in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray — the man charged with killing Michael.  (Pulse of Radio)
