Do you have a Gmail account?  Well, don’t expect privacy from Google.  According to CBS:

Google says gmail users should not expect to have their e-mail kept private. The admission comes as google fights a class-action data-mining lawsuit. In a motion filed in June, Google says, “Just as a sender of a letter to a business colleague cannot be surprised that the recipient’s assistant opens the letter, people who use web-based email today cannot be surprised if their emails are processed by the recipient’s [e-mail provider] in the course of delivery.” The motion goes on to say, “A person has no legitimate expectation of privacy in information he voluntarily turns over to third parties.” Previously, Google has stated that no humans read their users’ email or Google account information in order to show advertisements or related information. (CBS)

Almost makes us want to delete our Gmail account.
