Good news for the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul. According to Pulse of Radio,
Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige established the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now to help women in need especially those who were pursuing a college education. Last year the foundation fell upon hard times when it was hit with a lawsuit by TD Bank for defaulting on a $250,000 loan.
The outstanding balance recently ballooned up to $322,000 but Blige and company got some good news when the Bank decided to accept a settlement of $125,000 for the outstanding loan.
Per the agreement, the foundation will pay $15,000 immediately and then make 12 payments of $9,166.
