According to Pulse of Radio,

The White House said yesterday (October 23rd) that there will be a delay in the penalty under the Affordable Care Act for people who don’t have insurance because of the problems with the website since enrollment began at the beginning of this month. Americans have until December 15th to apply for coverage that’s effective on January 1st. Even though open enrollment lasts until March 31st, people would face a penalty if they didn’t have coverage in mid-February. Because of the website glitches that have made if difficult for people to sign up, the White House said that if consumers won’t face a penalty if they sign up by the end of March.

Hopefully the Obama administration can get this fixed sooner than later.
