Isn’t it time for a black super hero movie or show?  Pass time, actually.  Well, the wait is over, according to The Grio,

Netflix subscribers proudly binge on their favorite shows in one sitting and the company embraces that mentality, which has only made their brand more successful.

In a partnership between Disney and Marvel, look for more Netflix series of the superhero variety.

Following in the footsteps of ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Netflix will have four new live-action shows revolving around superheroes Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist that will premiere in 2015.

For those who are unfamiliar with Marvel comics, the four heroes were all Avengers at one point — so potential crossovers with Iron Man, Thor and The Hulk are possible.

Fans of Luke Cage in particular should be elated. Cage is a pioneering black comic book character, and Hollywood has been interested in bringing him to the big screen for years.

Good!  It’s about time!  Better late than never.  Too bad we had to wait two years before we get it, but at least we’re getting it.
