Well here’s a heart-warming story for the holidays.  From the Akron Beacon Journal,

A man in Akron, Ohio named Joel Testa hosted a four-course meal for 50 homeless people at his four-star restaurant. Testa also asked family and friends to skip giving him presents for his birthday and instead raise money for the homeless. Testa said, “Generally, people are afraid of the homeless… The homeless are not lepers. Homelessness can happen to anyone.” The money that was donated for his 42nd birthday was used to offset the cost of the dinner. The menu included potato leek soup, a spinach quiche salad, braised beef short ribs and a chocolate mousse desert. The homeless diners were offered seconds and takeout bags with leftovers, along with scarves — knitted by Testa’s daughter and her scout troop. (Akron Beacon Journal)

That man will be blessed ten fold for that.
