We all commit beauty sins everyday. Read on to check out a few of the things we should stop doing right now.

Pulling your eye! This puts you on the fast track to bags & sags. Be kind to the skin below your eye. No pulling and tugging when applying eyeliner and other products. Use your ring finger instead of your pointer because it’s a little weaker and more kind to the under eye area.

Sleeping with your makeup on!

Dear You,

Do you want big bumps in the middle of your forehead, chin & cheeks? No!? Well that’s what’s gonna happen unless you wash away the day!! Do not take that 24hr foundation so literally. Let me breathe & rest when you do.

Signed,

Your Skin

Getting older without your skin care growing up too. At ten I used soap and water. As a tween it was Noxema & Neutrogena. As an adult, your skin needs change & so should your skin care. If you’re over 12, work some big girl products into the mix. Be proactive & focus on avoiding wrinkles, lines & stuff like that. Worst thing you can do is wait to see a wrinkle instead of being proactive.

Touching your face. Take a moment & close your eyes. Think of all the disgusting things you touch everyday. Dirty hand rails, door handles & the like. Now…think about rubbing your face all over those dirty surfaces. Yeah…enough said. Hands off!

Picking bumps & breakouts! See the above description but think of doing all of the above with open wounds. Pretty gross right!? Let your breakouts run their course. Nothing worse then rushing to pop a bump only to end up with acne scars.

Do you commit any of these beauty sins? Have any more to add? Chime in below.
