(SUGAR LAND, TX) –Four schools are onlockdown in Fort Bend Independent School Districtfollowing a shooting at a business in Sugar Land.
According to Sugar Land police, the shooting happened around 9am at Global Casework Manufacturing in the 900 block of Industrial.
Police said two people who did not work there reportedly showed up and had argument with a male employee before shooting him. He was struck in the chest and died at the scene.
Employees of Global Case Manufacturing are on lockdown.
The following schools are on lockdown: Lakeview Elementary, Sugar Mill Elementary, Sugar Land Middle School and M.R. Woods Center for Learning. The Fort Bend ISD Distribution Center is on lockdown as well.
