(HOUSTON) — Vandals trashed a Houston nonprofit this week, stealing $10,000 worth of electronics from an organization that works to help people with Down syndrome.

Workers arrived at the Down Syndrome Association of Houston offices Wednesday morning and found smart TVs, mini-computers and monitors missing.  Other computers where thrown in a trash can.

The electronics were educational tools for clients of the center, and many had been donated just a week ago.

Houston police are investigating.
