Some kids from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are wrapping up their “Shoes for Haiti” project.
About 200 Houston high schools have collected 3,000 shoes over the last six weeks to make a difference in another part of the world.
State youth leader Jacob Swanson says it’s an annual effort to move its Mormon youth to action.
