(HOUSTON) — This new phenomenon might soon be available at a liquor store near you.

Powdered alcohol, better known as Palcohol, is now a “thing,” and SBNation.com says it might facilitate sneaking alcohol into events where it’s not permitted.

“Trying to sneak booze is an American past time. Well, not THE American past time — but now there’s a way for you to sneak alcohol easily into your favorite sporting event! Heck, you don’t even need to use a syrup bottle,” SBNation.com reports.

This is powdered alcohol we are talking about. Meaning it not only can turn water into vodka, but powder products can be consumed in many other forms.

“Let’s talk about the elephant in the room….snorting Palcohol. Yes, you can snort it. And you’ll get drunk almost instantly because the alcohol will be absorbed so quickly in your nose. Good idea? No. It will mess you up. Use Palcohol responsibly,” Palcohol explains.

According to TIME, Palcohol was approved by the The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, but they quickly withdrew the approval 13 days later due to labeling errors.

“TTB did approve labels for Palcohol, those label approvals were issued in error and have since been surrendered,” TIME reports.

“There seemed to be a discrepancy on our fill level, how much powder is in the bag. This doesn’t mean that Palcohol isn’t approved, it just means that these labels aren’t approved. We will re-submit labels,” Palcohol’s parent company, Lipsmark, said in statement.

Seems like it will be quite some time before you can pick up powdered alcohol at your local grocery store.
