Broadway Stars Protest Police Brutality In New York With “I Can’t Breathe” Poem

Ths past Tuesday a group of 100+ Broadway actors, writers, producers, choreographers, dancers and staff got together to protest police brutality in New York. The most recent case being the death of Eric Garner on Staten Island, who died as a result of a chokehold placed on him by police officers during his arrest. The death was ruled a homicide. The artists expressed their anger and frustration through a public display of unity and a poignant poem in front of the police station in Times Square.
