This weekend, Governor of Texas, Rick Perry has been indicted on charges of abuse of power after carrying out a threat to veto funding for state public corruption prosecutors. He has also been accused of abusing his official powers by publicly promising to veto 47.5 million for the state public integrity unit in the Travis County DA’s office.
