(HOUSTON) – A man was arrested Thursday, accused of vandalism at Joel Osteen’s megachurch.
Houston police said a man was taken into custody around 9:50 a.m., after he allegedly walked into the Lakewood Church bookstore, 3700 Southwest Fwy., and began breaking store products.
An off-duty Harris County sheriff’s deputy who was working security at the church began struggling with the man, and was able to handcuff the man’s hands and feet.
The suspect will likely face vandalism charges, HPD said.
