It may not have been the outrageous spectacle that she was hoping for, but Joan Rivers‘ funeral was still a fantastic event!

The A-list turned up for Joan’s send off at Temple Emanu-El on the Upper East Side, where mourners wore Joan Rangers badges to honor her final gig as the host of E!’s “Fashion Police.” Whoopi Goldberg, Kelly Osbourne, Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer and Donald Trump were all among the guests that came out to remember Joan this morning.

In her 2013 book, “I Hate Everyone…Starting With Me,” Joan said that she wanted a red carpet, paparazzi and a sobbing Meryl Streep. She got two out of three, and that isn’t bad.

According to CNN.com, mourners walked down a red carpet to get into the synagogue, where they were greeted by the New York City Men’s Chorus. The guys performed a number of tunes like “What A Wonderful World,” “Hey Big Spender,” and “That’s Entertainment.”

Outside, there were at least 100 members of the media posted up to capture the comings and goings of Joan’s mourners. USA Today reports that another 500 spectators were also standing around outside of the event to catch a glimpse of who came out to remember Joan.

Although she was certainly a high priestess of snark, she had a heart of gold. Instead of flowers, Joan’s publicist said that the comedian wanted her friends and loved ones to make donations to Guide Dogs for the blind, Our House, and God’s Love, We Deliver instead of getting a bunch of flowers for her funeral.
