On the heels of the Donald Sterling fiasco with the Los Angeles Clippers, another NBA owner has admitted to racist comments about his team’s fans. Bruce Levenson, owner of the Atlanta Hawks has admitted that he sent a racist email to Hawk’s president, Danny Ferry back in 2012. In the email, Levenson stated his belief that the Hawk’s fan base was too “heavily African-American” and implied that white fans might be intimidated by black fans. He also admitted that his assumptions were inappropriate and offensive and has agreed to sell his controlling interest in the Atlanta Hawks. Click here to read more.
