Morgan Freeman, the 77 year old actor known for great films, including ‘The Shawshank Redemption,’ ‘Million Dollar Baby,’ ‘Driving Mis Daisy,’ Unforgiven,’ and many more. Wednesday the City Of London gave the Oscar-winning actor the Freedom of the City award. The time honored ceremony makes Freeman a freeman in the City of London. Back in the day , freeman were allowed to herd sheep over London Bridge but that privilege on longer applies. Morgan Freeman was honored for his acting and his charitable works.
