#LetsPlayHouston

Let’s Play is a community partnership led by Dr Pepper Snapple Group to get kids and families active nationwide. Dr Pepper Snapple Group will be hosting #LetsPlayHouston for members of the Houston community. Hosted in partnership with non-profit partners KaBOOM! and Good Sports.

The all-day event includes:

• Playground build at Calvert Elementary School with KaBOOM!

  – 200+ local volunteers will build a playground from the ground up

• Donation of more than $50,000 of sports equipment to various Houston-area schools with Good Sports
• Ribbon cutting ceremony

  –  Local DPS representatives, school leaders, volunteers and Calvert Elementary students will celebrate newly erected playground and sports equipment donation

• FREE family-friendly play event for the Houston community

  – Children and their families will enjoy fun activities, including bouncy houses, obstacles courses and face painting

The event will be held on Saturday, November 8th

• 7:30 am – 8:00 am (Opening Ceremony)
• 8:00 am –  noon (Playground build and Sports Equipment Donation Sorting)
• Noon – (Closing Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting)
• 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm (#LetsPlayHouston Community Play Event)
