Tom, Sybil and the entire Tom Joyner Morning Show are coming to Houston for the “Check Black” Census 2010 Tour!
Mark your calendars, March 31st, 2010 is the date!
The goal:
“This effort is key because we want to make sure our communities receive the federal and state funding that they need and deserve. Census participation is one of the best ways to insure that.” – Tom Joyner
The plan:
- The Tom Joyner Morning Show, with Tom and Sybil will take the show on the road March 29 – April 16 to generate attention and excitement with Houston listeners and share vital information about the US Census Bureau’s 2010 campaign and how it impacts peoples daily lives.
We anticipate:
- Helping to increase the number of Census forms filled out
- Increasing the accuracy in filling them out
- Census enumerators involved in the markets during our visits will assist in ease of filling out and delivery
- Listeners will be able to bring their completed census form and turn in to the Census Bureau on site
