2X GRAMMY nominee Eric Roberson will be swinging through Houston, Friday to perform for “The Soulcial Series” event held in downtown Houston. He currently is promoting singles off his latest album, Music Fan First.

Excerpt from His Biography:

With a multifaceted body of work heard more often than many realize, “Erro” has earned the great respect and admiration of his peers and fans. Recognized for his undeniable talents, he became the first independent artist to be nominated for a BET Award in 2007 and was the recipient of the Underground Artist of the Year BETJ Virtual Award, with Rahsaan Patterson, in 2008. Roberson has worked along side, as well as written for, many mainstream producers and artists; some of whom include DJ Jazzy Jeff, Osulande, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Vivian Green, Kenny Lattimore & Chanté Moore, Charlie Wilson, Will Downing, Darius Rucker, Carl Thomas, and Will Smith.

Roberson’s latest project, Music Fan First – a celebration of the ultimate partnership between music and its fans – debuted at #5 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Chart, and has earned Roberson two consecutive Grammy nominations in 2010 and 2011. Presented in 17 songs, including the highly popular singles “Borrow You,” “Dealing” featuring Lalah Hathaway, and the two GRAMMY®-Nominated songs “A Tale of Two” featuring Michelle Thompson and Ben O’Neill (2010) and “Still” (2011), Music Fan First features über-talented musical friends such as Hathaway, T3 of Slum Village, Wanya and several others.
