President Barack Obama visited University of Texas at Austin to discuss the importance of higher education.

He also spoke on the economy turning around with the emerge of solar energy and job creation in this field.

He mentioned that he wants the United States to have the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020, which would mean increasing the percentage of young adults in the United States who earn higher education degrees from 40 percent to 60 percent. This is based off of statistics that show the US currently ranking 12 out of 36 countries where students graduate from college.

Obama also informed the students again that he will be pulling back troops from Afghanistan next month as promised during his election campaign.
