Walt Disney on Thursday announced a multimedia healthy lifestyle initiative aimed at kids featuring public-service announcements by first lady Michelle Obama and young Disney stars.
Disney said The Disney Magic of Healthy Living program builds on its commitment begun in 2006 to inspire healthy choices by showing fun, easy ways to weave healthy practices into everyday life. It focuses on nutrition, healthcare and fitness.
The initiative includes a year-long series of public service announcements featuring Michelle Obama and stars like Nick Jonas, which will be featured on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Radio Disney, Disney.com, ABC as well as other networks.
