Other provisions include:
Secretary of State will have $2 million for voter education and poll watcher training.
Texas Department of Public Safety will issue free identification cards to anyone requesting one for voting purposes.
A list of acceptable IDs will be posted outside of polling places.
A voter without an ID may cast a provisional ballot and provide a photo ID within six days for the vote to count.
The voter ID law does not apply to anyone who is 70 or older by Jan. 1, 2012. Read More:
