Mariah Carey tweeted today that her newborn twins – a boy and a girl – both have names beginning with the letter M.
The singer and husband Nick Cannon welcomed their first children on April 30, and today gave their first hints as to what they will name their boy and girl.
“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies! they’re doing great ,” Mariah tweeted. “And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined (sic)!”
“So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc. both begin w/M’s!!!!”
People from all around the world immediately started tweeting suggestions, but while Mariah, 42, commented on a couple, she gave no further details away.
Nick has meanwhile confirmed his wife is “recovering really well” from the birth and said he feels “blessed” by her and their two beautiful babies.
He told USA Today: “I am so proud of her and I know she is so relieved and grateful this long-awaited moment is finally here! I honestly feel like there are no words to describe this experience. Being here with my wife and dembabies makes me realize God has blessed me with the three most beautiful things in the world.”
