Via Click2HOUSTON.com — The causes of death for two children who police said were killed by their mother may not be known for weeks, officials say.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies said the bodies of Gabriel Nathan Sanders, 3, and Gabrielle Yvonne Woods, 5, were found in the 16100 block of Sandy Path Lane about 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators said the mother, Rebekah Sanders, 29, shot herself in the head. She was taken by medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. She was on a ventilator on Wednesday, and detectives said it is unlikely that she will survive.
