Apparently, Tyra Banks doesn’t have enough credits to her resume. Being an actress, mogul, former talk show hostess and reality TV star just isn’t enough for the former catwalk queen.
Banks has now written a book, “Modelland,” set, surprisingly enough, in the world of fashion. Well, they say write what you know. But this is the fashion world with a twist – call it a sort of “Hunger Games” for the fashionable.
In “Modelland,” geared to young adult readers, Tookie De La Crème, a 15-year old aspiring model, and several other teens are chosen to attend modeling school at Modelland, a mysterious modeling school that promises its students fame and fortune. But, of course, things are not always what they seem.
