A Houston man with a lengthy criminal past blames Houston police for what he called a brutal attack that left him badly scarred and bruised.
“They kept hitting me for no reason at all,” said Anthony Childress. “I thought I was going to die.”
The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the 2900 block of Delano Street in southeast Houston.
Childress said he was riding his bike when police pulled up behind him. After emptying his pockets of a hunting knife, Childress said police proceeded to beat him.
