From Chron.com:

Motorists should expected delays, slow traffic and detours this weekend as construction projects will temporarily close portions of Interstate 10 near the Grand Parkway.

The eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway will be shut down from Katy Fort Bend Road for 24 hours from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Drivers will be routed off the freeway before the construction and then allowed to reenter the freeway at an entrance ramp beyond the roadwork.

The westbound lanes of the freeway will be closed at Mason Road from 11 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday. Drivers will be detoured from the freeway and can reenter at the next exit once they have passed the construction.

The construction is part of the Katy Freeway and Grand Parkway interchange.
