Beyond-the-heart-and-brain-Emerging-benefits-of-omega-3_strict_xxl

According to UPI.com,

A new study shows that people with higher levels of omega 3 fatty acids, which is found in some fish, may preserve up to one or two years of breain health. James V. Pottala, the study author, of the University of South Dakota in Sioux Falls and Health Diagnostic Laboratory Inc. found that the participants who had higher levels of omega 3 had larger brain volumes while those with twice as high levels of the fatty acid had a 0.7 percent larger brain volume. Potalla said, “Shrinking brain volume is a sign of Alzhemier’s disease as well as normal aging. These higher levels of fatty acids can be achieved through diet and the use of supplements, and the results suggest that the effect on brain volume is the equivalent of delaying the normal loss of brain cells that comes with aging by one to two years.” (upi.com)

I’m going to buy a bottle of Omega 3’s today!
