“I would not be boxing for me,” The Game told TMZ. “I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family.”

“I would box him to knock him out,” said The Game, who has a tattoo of Trayvon Martin on his leg. “I would definitely take pleasure in it. It’s legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon.”

Rapper DMX admitted that if he got the chance to enter the ring with Zimmerman, he would not fight fair.

“I am going to beat the living f**k out him,” DMX said. “I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up.”

Even James Brown, the popular sports commentator for CBS Sports, weighed in: “I don’t think George would want any parts of me.”

Zimmerman claims he has been boxing for a while.

“Boxing isn’t new to me,” Zimmerman told Radar Online, adding that he is boxing for charity.

“I’d love to tell you [the charity] but unfortunately there’s so much animosity still from people out there, that if I name the charity now they would get bombarded with negativity, so I’d rather not,” Zimmerman said. “I’ll leave it up to them to say if they want it to be publicized or not. But I will tell you that it’s an animal rescue.”

Zimmerman also hinted that he may not box again after the charity match.

“Obviously, if I get my butt kicked around, then no!” he told Radar Online.

One can only hope.
