Dear Tom,

I would like to nominate a great husband, father, friend, coach and mentor. My husband is the type man you would love to have in your corner. He has the attitude to make it happen no matter what it takes.

Not only does he ensure that home and his 8 year old daughter and I are taken care of; he also volunteers in the community. He has coached youth basketball for 8 years without having a child in the league and when his daughter was ready to play he took a girls team that went 1-8, taught them the fundamentals of basketball and won the championship. He also coaches girls’ softball and spends numerous of hours at his daughter school.

He started a men’s mentoring program at her school. He has donated over 50 hours of volunteer time at the school just being that male figure for the kids. When the DJ didn’t show up for their school dance, he downloaded YouTube songs from his phone and played through a microphone to ensure the party would continue.

Tom: Fredrick loves to grill and whenever the opportunity presents itself, he shows off his skills. He grilled during the teacher’s appreciation week and also for the 2nd grade end of the year cookout. My husband is truly the definition of a real father real man.
