After discreet consideration, it is official: Alexa Box will no longer work for Daily Elementary in west Houston.
The Houston Independent School District (HISD) passed the resignation deal Thursday with the third-grade teacher accused of making anti-Muslim remarks on a public access television.
“I am so sick of the bacon-haters coming here,” and “Can’t Ebola just take one for the team and take out Obama?” according to the Houston Chronicle.
According to reports, Alexa Box made disturbing comments towards President Obama and the Muslim community on a public access television show called “Tommy’s Garage.”
“Box’s resignation was accepted after it was determined it was the best for her and the school…,” HISD released in a statement.
