The last several years have not been good to legendary funkster Sly Stone. After being allegedly duped by his former manager and entertainment attorney out of millions of dollars in royalties, Stone was left homeless, penniless and addicted to drugs, living out of a van in LA. Things are looking up, though. An LA jury has awarded the musician 5 million dollars in unpaid royalties. Let’s hope Sly is able to get on his feet and get his life together.
