Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego secretly got married back in 2013 and just welcomed twin boys, Cy and Bowie. Sounds like a traditional marriage except for the fact that instead of being the Perego family, they are the Saldana family. You see, Marco, who by the way is an Italian artist, chose to take is wife’s last name, even at her apprehension. When she tried to talk him out of it, he said, “Zoe, I don’t give a sheet!” They talk more about their non-traditional decision in the July 2015 edition of InStyle Magazine.
Though it is not common for a man to take his wife’ last name, some celebrities have combined their last names. After marrying Yoko Ono, John Lennon became John Ono Lennon. In 2008 Beyonce and Jay-Z became Knowles-Carter. Click here to read more.
