“I participated like a lot of folks who took shots at her. But for me as a white aspiring ally, I think there is something more important. I suspect she didn’t have the stomach to do the hard work. It’s not only a slap in the face of actual black folks, it’s a slap in the face to white allyship as well,” Wise said.
