Google is introducing a new feature that will let you know how long lines are at the store, helping you avoid shopping at times when it’s really busy.
The new feature in Google search results will show hourly foot traffic at millions of different businesses around the world.
It works by using location data from people’s mobile phones — which is anonymized — similarly to how Google measures traffic congestion data.
