Though Wickett Crickett primarily promoted raps shows and was a huge part of the Houston rap scene, many people know him from his charity work around the city. He had a bigger than life personality and an even bigger heart. Always willing to help an artist gain exposure for their music and quick to donate his time and resources to a charitable cause especially when it came to youth. He had a really rough childhood and felt a responsibility to help young people avoid the struggles he faced growing up. I’ve had the opportunity to sit and talk with him, even played in a couple of celebrity basketball games with him over the years.
