If you’re not watching the Republican National Convention you’re really missing out.
It’s a real s#!t show!!
I’m sure Donald Trump didn’t plan it this way when he promised to put on a show, but boy is he delivering.
Behind the scenes there are more glitches than you can keep track of.
But on the TV, ooooh weee!
Let’s start with Ted Cruz.
“God Bless each and every one of you and god bless the united states of America. (Boooooooooo)”
Cruz, boo’d during his speech when he refused to endorse Trump – Trump made an early entrance to upstage Cruz at the end of his speech.
Donald Trump later tweeting: Wow, Ted Cruz got booed off the stage, didn’t honor the pledge! I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!
Well it turned out to be a really big deal because no one was talking about Trump son’s Eric’s speech or the speech given by his newly crowned VP pick Mike Pence.
Even after the boo’s Ted Cruz didn’t back down
Reporter – “Senator why did you decide not to endorse Donald Trump in the end?
Cruz – “Well I laid out a very simple standard. We need a president that will defend liberty and be faithful to the constitution. And I hope very much that is who the next president will be.”
Well, that’s gonna leave a mark.
Staunch Cruz supporter and Republican billionaire donor Sheldon Adelson denied Cruz entry to his suite in the arena.
Cruz’s wife had to be escorted out of the arena by security with people screaming “Goldman Sachs” at her – a reference to her former job as a Goldman Sachs executive – something that doesn’t sit well with conservatives who shun so-called “Wall Street values.”
Like I said, what a s#!t show!
New York Congressman Peter King did not hold his tongue, saying Cruz was disgraceful and disqualifying and that the word a$$hole doesn’t do Cruz justice.
“To me, Ted Cruz showed America what he really is. He’s a fraud. He’s a liar. He’s self-centered. He disqualified himself from ever being considered for president of the United States.”
He went on to say Cruz was a total fraud.
And that’s the way it is in Cleveland.
Donald Trump speaks tonight and he’s got a whole lot of splaining to do.
Grab your popcorn.
